vision

Moriting Wealth Managers’ vision is “To delight our clients by being the best at what we do and to empower our people to equally be the best.”

SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Our social responsibility is an integral aspect of who we are. It starts with our staff and clients but ultimately aims at building the capacity of all the people in our country.

Any caring company has to contribute to the community that it wishes to serve. With the vast inequities and development needs within the South African society, Moriting believes that its contribution should be to the empowerment of socially disadvantaged communities. This, however, can only be addressed within the bounds of affordability.

Moriting Wealth Managers currently support the following initiatives:

ST MARY’S CHILDREN HOME

ROSSETTENVILLE

The main building of St Mary’s Children’s Home has been identified by heritage groups as a building in danger. In 1906 the present property was donated with the first buildings completed the following year. The Hostel & New School Building were erected in 1929 while the swimming pool was added in the late 1950s. The ‘Sanderson Wing’ was completed in 1954 and is now used as a board room / fund-raising venue.

The condition of the home requires constant maintenance and furniture to ensure a homely environment for the children.

The Moriting family recognises the need to address socio-economic ills of our country.  Our social responsibility is not about the administrative score card – it’s about meaningful contribution to the lives of the children of South Africa.

We have been supporting the orphanage for the past years.  We offer financial support, as well as donations in the form of clothes, blankets and furniture.  Visiting the orphanage allows our team to interact with the children and get to know them as it is not only about giving financial support but also about being there to actively participate and show we care.

Our involvement with this trust is from directorship level down to all levels in our organisation in the giving of their time to administer the Trust.

UNDER-PRIVILEGE CHILDREN’S CYCLING TEAM

CAPE TOWN

We recently started supporting a group of underprivileged teenagers who wanted to take part in the school mountain bike series.  Through our donation they were able to buy equipment and cycling kit as well as their fees. More importantly we afforded these children an opportunity to experience a new sport of mountain biking.

The excitement, laughter, and competitiveness of this sport allowed them to remember that they are after all children.
